Hi, I'm Carrie.

I've spent the better part of a decade photographing weddings, and somewhere along the way I've learned a few things.

Good light matters. So does timing. Film is worth the trouble. And the best photograph of the day might be the one nobody knew I was taking.

My approach is part observation, part direction, and a healthy appreciation for things that don't go according to plan.

I shoot both film and digital because I love what each brings to the table. I care about how a photograph looks, obviously, but I care just as much about whether it actually says something.

After ten years in Nashville, I'm back on the Florida coast, photographing weddings along 30A, in Nashville, and wherever else there's a good reason to go.

I take the work seriously. Myself, considerably less so.
